Several days passed.
Hyuga Kagami's life was incredibly regular. He woke up in the morning and went to the training ground to run and train.
Having strength was one thing.
Being able to steadily build on that strength and make it more effective was another!
"This isn't working!"
Hyuga Kagami stopped. He stood tall as a green bamboo stalk. Though he was only eight, he was already 1.74 meters tall, making him look more like a sixteen- or seventeen-year-old!
His hands itched for a fight. "Ordinary training barely does anything for me. You could even say it has almost no effect!"
Just then.
An arrogant voice rang out. "Yugao, we're comrades, aren't we? Why won't you agree to be with me?"
"You're a commoner. Getting together with someone from the Uchiha Clan is a tremendous honor. You should feel lucky!"
"Most people don't even get the chance!"
Uchiha Lengfeng eagerly cornered Uzuki Yugao, his gaze burning with desire.
His face was full of confidence.
He was certain Uzuki Yugao would agree to be with him!
"Yugao, you should know how much power the Uchiha Clan wields in Konoha. Being with me is a tremendous honor. You should feel fortunate!"
Uzuki Yugao's beautiful eyes trembled, fear and reluctance in their depths.
"I-I'm sorry, Lengfeng. We're just comrades. I don't have feelings for you."
Why?
She couldn't understand why Uchiha Lengfeng, who was usually rather amiable, had become so irritable and cold!
It was as if he would devour her alive if she didn't agree today!
"Are you joking?!"
Uchiha Lengfeng shouted, his expression horribly dark!
"I'm a genius of the Uchiha Clan! I awakened my Sharingan at fourteen, and I'm destined to become a major figure in the clan. How can you reject me?!"
"You damn bitch!"
His breathing grew ragged, and the single-tomoe Sharingan in his blood-red eyes spun wildly!
He glared at Uzuki Yugao with deep resentment!
"The first thing I did after awakening my Sharingan was tell you! I've already lost my brother. Are you going to leave me too? Heh... hehehe!"
His smile was crazed, and his chakra radiated a bone-chilling cold.
"Just as I thought... You can't rely on women. They're all damn bitches. Not one of them can be trusted!"
With a flick of his wrist, a kunai appeared in his palm. He thrust it forward with all his might!
He was going to kill Uzuki Yugao!
Uzuki Yugao's pretty face was stricken with panic as she fled in disarray.
He was crazy!
Uchiha Lengfeng had gone mad. He actually dared to hurt a comrade in the village!
Suddenly, her eyes lit up when she spotted a tall, upright figure. She hurriedly cried out, "Help me! Please, help me! Uchiha Lengfeng's gone mad!"
But when she got closer,
she realized the person in front of her was Hyuga Kagami!
How had he gotten so much taller? His face had changed a little, too.
But there was no time to think about that.
Uzuki Yugao's face fell. Hyuga Kagami was fairly strong, but his talent was only average.
He couldn't possibly beat Uchiha Lengfeng, who had awakened his Sharingan!
"Kagami, let's get out of here! Lengfeng might really kill us!"
Uzuki Yugao clasped Hyuga Kagami's broad hand tightly.
She gritted her teeth.
She pulled him, ready to run!
The two of them might have a better chance of escaping together, but she couldn't bear to let a comrade get hurt!
"Hyuga Kagami? Let go of Yugao's hand!"
"You're a useless member of the Hyuga Branch Family, trapped in that cursed cage. You think you can steal my woman?"
"I'll kill you!"
Seeing this, Uchiha Lengfeng nearly lost his mind. His eyes were bloodshot, and the veins on his face bulged!
"You damn bitch! You damn bitch!"
"You belong to me! How dare you hold someone else's hand? Are you sleeping with Hyuga Kagami?!"
Whoosh!
The sound of something slicing through the air rang out!
His speed increased as his anger surged!
"An Uchiha mad dog? He awakened his Sharingan after losing his brother, and now hatred has consumed him?"
Hyuga Kagami raised an eyebrow.
It was kind of wild.
There were basically no normal people in the Uchiha Clan. After losing someone they loved and awakening their Sharingan, they either wanted to destroy the world or were willing to sacrifice their parents for Konoha. None of that seemed like something a normal person would do.
They seemed more like lunatics!
"Hurry, Kagami! We can't beat Uchiha Lengfeng. After awakening his Sharingan, his strength is already on par with a Special Jōnin!"
Uzuki Yugao's face was panicked as her slender fingers gripped Hyuga Kagami's broad hand.
But to her surprise, Hyuga Kagami didn't move an inch.
"Yugao, get behind me."
Hyuga Kagami's voice was calm, and his thick brows gave him a wild air!
He glanced at Uzuki Yugao. Her stunning, lovely face had grown into a radiant beauty.
If her purple hair were black,
she would have been the perfect long-haired beauty!
But her purple hair didn't make her look alluring. Instead, it lent her a gentle, graceful air!
"Okay."
Uzuki Yugao obeyed instinctively, but the next moment she realized what she'd done.
She was two years older than Hyuga Kagami, so why had she... listened to him?
Hyuga Kagami didn't let go. His broad hand was scorching hot!
He was like a furnace!
His masculine presence washed over her!
"Hyuga Kagami, you think you can stop me? You're still a dead-last, while I'm already a Special Jōnin!"
Uchiha Lengfeng's eyes nearly bulged from their sockets!
The sight of Uzuki Yugao blushing made his anger burn even hotter!
"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"
"Yugao belongs to me! She can only belong to me!"
He shouted and brought his kunai crashing down.
Hyuga Kagami sneered, his eyes indifferent, as if he were looking at trash.
"You spineless coward!"
"Your brother was killed by someone else. You're a genius of the Uchiha Clan. You should be getting stronger so you can avenge him, not wallowing in romance!"
"But you didn't seek revenge. Instead, you're bullying someone from your own village!"
His voice boomed like thunder.
His eyes were like a dragon's!
His imposing presence made people's legs tremble!
"You think you're a genius?"
"Pathetic. As far as I'm concerned, you're nothing but trash. You don't dare avenge your brother, so you take out your resentment and hatred on your comrades!"
He raised his right hand.
His fist clenched, and terrifying purple Thunderbolt crackled around it!
It was like the might of heaven and earth!
He snatched the kunai and crushed it in his palm!
The terrifying Thunderbolt surged through Uchiha Lengfeng's entire body in an instant, leaving him completely unable to fight back.
Hyuga Kagami kicked Uchiha Lengfeng hard, sending him flying. He tumbled through the air like a rag doll and crashed to the ground in the distance, his life hanging in the balance!
"Stop!"
Just then,
a sharp shout rang out!
With a rush of air, an Anbu Ninja appeared before them. His gaze was cold, and disbelief filled his eyes!
How could this happen?!
Everything had happened too fast. He had already shouted for them to stop,
but Hyuga Kagami had ignored him completely!
Hyuga Kagami was too fast. In an instant, Uchiha Lengfeng had lost the strength to resist and was lying on the ground, his life hanging in the balance!
"You attacked a comrade inside the village. Hyuga Kagami, what are you doing?!"
The Anbu Ninja's voice was icy.
Beneath his fox mask, a blood-red Three-Tomoe Sharingan spun wildly.
