He could feel his Chakra slowly recovering, and the wound on his left arm was healing bit by bit. It still hurt, but it was much better than before.
About ten minutes later, the Black Nine-Tails returned without a trace of blood on his body. Clearly, he had dealt with Shadow Pavilion's third-in-command.
He walked up to Kawaki Aoba and said, "It's done. That man had no scheme or ambush waiting. You can rest easy."
Kawaki Aoba opened his eyes, nodded, and said, "Thanks for the effort, Black Nine-Tails.
"My injuries are much better. I can stand up now."
With that, he struggled to his feet and moved his left arm. It was still a little stiff, but it no longer hurt.
The Black Nine-Tails nodded. "Good. You're recovering quickly. You must have a strong constitution.
"Now I'll help you sense the Psychic Jade's power and teach you how to cultivate with it.
"The Psychic Jade contains tremendous power. You must calm your mind and take your time sensing it. Don't rush, or its power could easily turn against you."
Kawaki Aoba nodded, his voice firm. "I understand. I'll stay calm and take my time. I won't rush."
The Black Nine-Tails led Kawaki Aoba to the altar and gently brushed the dust from the box with a paw. Its true appearance emerged: an ancient-looking wooden box carved with intricate patterns. A faint glow shimmered across its surface. The Psychic Jade was clearly inside.
The Black Nine-Tails looked at Kawaki Aoba. "Now reach out and gently touch the box. Calm your mind and sense the Psychic Jade's power inside. Let it gradually enter your body and merge with your Chakra.
"Remember, keep your mind clear. If you let distracting thoughts in, the Psychic Jade's power could easily turn against you."
