Within the Rogge Plane, Lynn could be said to have "gotten his wish" and witnessed Xi Ye and Southern Frost's reunion.
Yet the fierce quarrel he had imagined never came.
Or, more accurately, it had already begun—he simply could not hear it.
At that moment, atop an unnamed iceberg somewhere in the Rogge Plane, three figures stood quietly.
Xi Ye and Southern Frost stood at the summit.
Meanwhile, Lynn had been "thoughtfully" placed halfway up the mountain.
Looking up from here, he could vaguely make out the scene at the peak.
Southern Frost's delicate body trembled faintly, one jade-like finger pointed at Xi Ye, her red lips opening and closing without pause. She was clearly saying something.
Ordinarily, such a distance was nothing to a Morning Star Wizard. With Lynn's hearing, not only could he hear their conversation clearly, he could even make out their breathing.
Yet Xi Ye had directly invoked his authority over the Rogge Plane.
The entire mountaintop seemed to have been cut away from the world, transformed into a completely sealed domain.
Lynn could see the scene, but not hear a single sound.
Being able to see but not hear was somehow even more torturous.
Still, merely from the ever-changing expressions on Southern Frost's stunningly beautiful face, he could infer quite a bit.
The South Region Lord, who had always been as cold as frost and as unapproachable as a snow mountain that had stood for ten thousand years, now wore an expression ugly to the extreme, with even a trace of gritted-teeth fury.
Clearly, the conversation between the two was anything but pleasant.
As for Xi Ye—
He still looked utterly unruffled.
He stood there with a calm expression, neither refuting nor arguing.
He looked exactly like a dead pig that feared no boiling water.
