"Are you certain, Silephus?"
In a secluded corridor of Hogwarts.
Dumbledore and Professor Snape stood under the moonlight.
By now, all the first-years had returned to their common rooms to prepare for sleep.
The professors were also preparing to rest.
"It is difficult to be entirely certain. I have lived with him for a long time; although there were some strange changes a year ago, no matter what methods I used, I could not detect any issues. He was still the same person."
"But just this past month, he suddenly changed as if he were a different person. I don't mean his personality or anything like that—that hasn't changed—but he suddenly became a genius, just like..."
Snape's expression was grave.
He was uncharacteristically struggling to find the right words.
"Just like his father, correct?"
Dumbledore's calm, blue eyes gazed at the moon outside the window.
"Yes... yes. So, I am wondering if something went wrong on that side, causing him to have such a sudden change."
Snape looked extremely anxious at that moment.
His hands were clenched tight, quite involuntarily.
"That is difficult to observe, Silephus. Regarding The Boy Who Lived, we can only protect him as best we can."
Dumbledore continued to gaze at the moon on the horizon.
He replied to Snape with an unchanging tone.
"The Boy Who Lived? Do we still need a savior now? The event seven years ago already fulfilled the prophecy! We no longer need a savior!"
Snape's emotions suddenly flared.
He spoke through gritted teeth, a rare sight.
A hint of sorrow surfaced on his face.
It was as if he were recalling some painful memory.
"I apologize, Silephus. I didn't tell you immediately because you hadn't returned yet. This morning, Sybill made another prophecy, just before the train departed."
Dumbledore finally turned his head to look at Snape.
His azure eyes revealed endless grief.
They also reflected Snape's paper-white face.
Passing through the long corridor.
Professor Snape pushed open the heavy wooden door.
A cold gust of wind rushed to meet them.
Devero couldn't help but shiver.
This was a classroom.
It was a spacious and empty room.
Several tall bookshelves were arranged around the perimeter.
They were filled with various spell books and magical artifacts.
In the center of the classroom stood several dummies.
They were dressed in tattered robes.
Their features were blurred and indistinct.
It was as if they had been struck by countless spells.
But what caught Devero's eye most of all was that there was already a Hogwarts teacher standing in the room.
Headmaster Dumbledore!
Devero was suddenly at a loss for what to do.
Professor Snape, however, paid no mind to that.
He walked to the podium.
He turned around.
His sharp gaze appeared even colder under the dim light.
"Now, let us see if your so-called 'genius' is truly well-deserved."
He said coldly.
"I will cast a spell, and you will watch. Once you have learned it, you will demonstrate it. Let me see if you are truly capable of doing this."
"The Headmaster and Professor Flitwick are very interested in a genius like you, so you had better be able to deliver as you promised."
Devero only then realized that the Head of Ravenclaw, Flitwick, was actually present.
Uh.
He really hadn't noticed just now.
After all, this Head of Ravenclaw House was a man whose height barely reached one's waist.
Devero nodded slightly.
He looked toward Dumbledore and Flitwick beside him with some unease.
These were the big bosses of the wizarding world!
Although he had made up his mind to make a splash at school, and had expected to attract Dumbledore's attention, he hadn't anticipated it happening so quickly!
Dumbledore sensed his gaze.
He smiled slightly, as if encouraging him.
Devero took a deep breath.
He drew his wand from his waist and walked to the center of the classroom.
He nodded at Professor Snape, signaling that he was ready.
Professor Snape gave an almost imperceptible nod.
With a wave of his wand, squeaks and creaks filled the air.
Suddenly, the dummies in the classroom seemed to come to life, squirming on the ground.
One by one, they became plump and rounded, their scarred fabric skins stitched back together until each dummy looked brand new.
They stood in the classroom as if they were real people, even capable of walking!
Devero watched this magical scene, gradually growing excited.
Hitting a stationary target was certainly not as thrilling as hitting a moving one!
Professor Snape didn't speak.
He immediately raised his wand and aimed it at one of the dummies.
"Stupefy!"
As the incantation fell, a red light shot from the tip of his wand and struck the dummy, which immediately collapsed to the ground and lay still.
Devero raised his hand at once, signaling that he had already learned it.
The speed of it made Dumbledore and Flitwick exchange a glance, both showing their surprise.
Professor Snape stared straight at Devero, his eyes somewhat clouded as a complex mix of emotions intertwined within them.
Devero silently memorized the pronunciation and wand movements of the incantation.
In truth, he had already mastered this move back at the Leaky Cauldron.
He just hadn't used it on Professor Snape before.
However, it didn't really make much of a difference.
It was just the difference between seeing it once and seeing it twice.
"Fine, now it's your turn."
Professor Snape said coldly.
Devero raised his wand.
He took a deep breath.
He aimed at another dummy.
"Stupefy!"
He enunciated the spell clearly.
A red light shot from the tip of his wand.
"Bang!"
It struck the dummy.
The dummy collapsed to the floor.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
Filius Flitwick and Dumbledore couldn't help but applaud.
Especially Filius Flitwick.
His face was full of admiration.
Clearly, he was pleasantly surprised that a first-year student like Devero could reach such a level.
Professor Snape's expression remained unchanged.
Next.
He began to cast more complex spells.
From simple household charms to more intricate hexes.
Devero watched with total concentration.
Every time Professor Snape finished casting a spell.
He immediately imitated it.
If he encountered a spell he hadn't seen before.
He would watch it a few more times.
With the help of his perfectly compatible wand.
There were basically no errors at all.
Every time he successfully cast a spell.
Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor Flitwick were generous with their applause and cheers.
By the end.
Professor Flitwick even wanted to shake Devero's hand.
And expressed his deep regret that Devero hadn't ended up in Ravenclaw.
(Devero felt quite regretful about this as well!!)
Just then, Devero opened this professor's panel.

Not bad at all!
Devero immediately added these few entries from Professor Flitwick to his shopping cart.
When it came time for Charms Class.
He would load them all in!
Coming back to his senses.
Devero smiled and remarked that all four houses were excellent.
He liked them all very much.
Snape's expression, however, grew increasingly gloomy.
Devero figured he might be worried that seeing him get too close to Professor Flitwick.
Would result in his prized catch being snatched away.
In an instant, Devero felt that his decision to display his strength at full throttle was incredibly brilliant!
After all, Snape would have to treat him better now.
Clap! Clap! Clap!
"You performed excellently, Devero."
Albus Dumbledore said while walking closer.
Clapping his hands as he spoke.
"You are truly a rare Magic Prodigy; the last time I encountered a student as outstanding as you was over twenty years ago."
Dumbledore looked at him with a beaming smile.
Devero had spent an entire year under Snape's suppressive teaching style.
To be praised like this.
It instantly caused his favorability toward Dumbledore to increase significantly.
"Thank you for the praise, Headmaster. I am indeed a genius."
Devero said without the slightest hesitation.
"Haha, hearing you say that, I think you are indeed quite Slytherin."
Flitwick said with a laugh.
Hearing this, a smile hung on the corners of Dumbledore's mouth.
"Indeed, humility is not a virtue for a Slytherin."
"Decades ago, there was a student your age who said the same thing to me..."
Dumbledore looked upward, as if lost in memory.
By now, he had walked within three meters of Devero.
Devero quickly, accurately, and ruthlessly opened Dumbledore's panel.
