Seven in the morning.
The Slytherin Common Room.
It was far too early.
Except for a few workaholics preparing for their O.W.L.s or N.E.W.T.s,
who were doing some early-morning reading in the common room,
basically no other wizards were up yet.
Whoosh!
Devero emerged from the washroom, looking refreshed and full of energy.
He shook out his clean, golden hair.
He'd practiced the Zen Meditation Method until midnight the night before,
but it hadn't affected his energy in the slightest the next day.
If anything, he felt even better!
He glanced at the workaholics in the common room,
and the corner of Devero's mouth twitched.
He'd thought getting up at half past six was already early,
but he couldn't even guess what time these people had gotten up.
Sure enough, no matter where you went,
there were always people who studied hard.
"All right, it's a new day! Time to get ready for class!"
As he crossed the common room,
Devero looked at the notification on his status panel that a golden entry had refreshed,
and a silly, lecherous grin crept across his face.
He reached the common room exit.
It was a wall,
and it looked perfectly smooth.
Devero was probably the first person to leave that day.
Since the Slytherin Common Room's entrance was a wall,
if anyone had already gone out that day,
the wall couldn't possibly be this smooth.
There'd have to be some sort of bump or something.
That was what Devero had figured out during his week of living here.
He gently tapped a brick in the wall.
Just like in Diagon Alley,
the wall immediately began to twist and transform,
opening up a passage wide enough for one person to pass through.
Devero stepped outside.
