"Never mind, I'll wait. Let me see if it has any other functions."
Devero didn't rush to use the Trait Upgrade Card when he saw it.
After all, he had only just gotten this trait.
Devero wanted to try it out first.
He wanted to see what else it could improve.
He could use it after class; there was no rush.
"Speaking of the Trait Upgrade Card, my exploration of the castle hasn't made much progress. I got held up by all sorts of things this weekend, too, and barely got anything done. I need to pick up the pace."
The moment he thought of the item card,
Devero was reminded of his frustratingly stalled castle exploration.
He couldn't help but rub his forehead.
On Saturday, he'd gone off to work on a new Polyjuice Potion recipe.
He'd continued on Sunday, then run into that whole mess at the Owlery in the afternoon.
That had put him behind schedule.
Now Snape wanted him to go to his office every evening.
And he couldn't neglect his Zen Meditation Method practice.
He also had to keep up with the upper-year classes.
Ugh, things were gradually starting to pile up.
Devero couldn't help sighing.
Absentmindedly, he toyed with the smoking quill in his hand.
A thought crossed his mind.
The quill kept changing into all sorts of objects.
By now, Devero had become quite adept at transforming small objects like this.
He didn't even need his wand.
As he kept changing it,
the quill in his hand suddenly turned into a long matchstick.
Devero narrowed his eyes at the matchstick before him.
A question immediately came to mind.
"Hmm, I'll ask Professor McGonagall in a bit."
As Devero kept testing his newly acquired Transfiguration ability on various small objects, time slowly passed.
Ding-ding-ding!
