Isshin Kurosaki looked at Ichigo with considerable exasperation, his gaze sweeping over the broad-bladed sword on Ichigo's back before he spoke.

"If we can't win, we might not survive anyway. We might as well give it everything we've got."

Ichigo sounded utterly unconcerned.

Behind him, Orihime Inoue poked her head out, looking as though she wanted to join in as well.

"This isn't children playing house."

He knew Ichigo said that because he had overheard their conversations during this time.

But Isshin did not know much about any of it either. He knew even less about their powerful enemy, Dunn. Still, for the Seireitei to respond like this, perhaps it was even more extreme than the bloody battle of years ago.

"Come on, it's time to make some arrangements."

Shinji Hirako walked out with an unconcerned expression. After yawning, he cast a sidelong glance at the three of them and spoke.

Behind him, the Visored followed close behind.

They had clearly already mastered Hollowfication.

Though he was still deeply unhappy about what had happened before, the situation was urgent now, and Shinji Hirako could not be bothered to pursue the matter any further.

"Then come along."

Watching Shinji Hirako and the others leave quickly, Isshin Kurosaki sighed and nodded at Ichigo.

"But even if a battle breaks out later, don't get close. This isn't a fight you can take part in yet. Besides, the outcome is still uncertain. The enemy may be strong, but we're well prepared too."

With that, he took the lead and headed forward with the two of them.

Yet when he saw the number of Soul Reapers in the second Karakura Town, his heart sank sharply.
