Rogue let out a miserable scream.
Black tentacles burrowed madly into his body.
Terrifying dark magic erupted in an instant, swallowing Rogue whole.
Gajeel's face changed drastically, and he immediately retreated several steps.
"What the hell is that thing?!"
A storm of black magic raged through the center of the street.
Then, suddenly—
A black figure shot out of the storm at incredible speed.
"Whoosh!"
A dragon claw shrouded in dense shadow slashed viciously at Gajeel.
Gajeel crossed his arms over his chest to block it.
"Bang!"
Tremendous force exploded.
Gajeel was hurled back more than ten meters, his feet plowing two deep trenches through the ground.
He steadied himself and looked up.
The person before him had completely changed.
Gajeel immediately realized something was wrong.
The guy before him was not Rogue at all.
The monster calling himself "Shadow" had strange black markings covering his face.
His hair floated uncontrollably in the air.
His eyes were crimson, radiating an utterly evil magic power.
He stood where he was, staring arrogantly at Gajeel.
"Hehehe... This body isn't half bad."
The monster let out a piercing, chilling laugh.
Gajeel looked at the monster before him, and his gaze instantly turned razor-sharp.
He had no intention of putting up with this guy.
"Boom!"
Gajeel unleashed all his magic power, steel scales covering his entire body.
He locked his eyes on the monster and spat out a threat.
"No matter what you are, I'm dragging you out of Rogue's body right now!"
Fairy Tail's stands.
The atmosphere was oppressive to the extreme.
Romeo leaned over the stone railing, gripping its edge so hard that his knuckles turned white.
He stared wide-eyed at the Magic Crystal screen overhead, his voice filled with obvious panic.
"Something's wrong! Rogue's condition is way too strange!"
