"There was no reason."
"That person was bound to close the Eclipse Gate."
"No matter what we said, no matter what we did, the final outcome would not change."
Carla could not help but argue.
"What makes you so sure?"
"The future can be changed."
"Future Lucy already came back to warn us. You came back too. Those things alone prove the future isn't fixed!"
"You're wrong."

"Some small matters can indeed be changed."
"But the turning points that truly decide the world's course have long been locked by fate."
"That person will stop the Eclipse operation."
"Ten thousand dragons will descend."
"Humanity will lose."

Wendy stood behind Mirajane, confusion on her face.
"But we already know about this now."
"If everyone persuades that person together, wouldn't that be enough?"

"It's useless."
"She won't listen."
