"You brought him in time. His main problem now is excessive blood loss. As long as he rests for a while, he'll be fine."
The speaker was the female doctor who traveled with Blade. When she had been bitten, Blade, who hunted Vampires, had saved her from pursuing Vampires and preserved her life. She was also Blade's pharmacist, specializing in potent drugs designed for Vampires. Any Vampire injected with them was certain to die.
