"It seemed someone wanted you to go to Gotham and meet him," Jean warned, reminding Donnie to be careful. Whatever the situation, someone in Gotham definitely wanted to do something to Donnie.
"Also, I investigated the people who threw the phone at you and found that I couldn't trace them at all. A group of experienced, meticulous people is watching you," Jean said.
"I understand... Thank you, Dr. Jean. Give my regards to the Professor and the others." Donnie exchanged a few final pleasantries with Jean before putting down the phone thoughtfully. So they were from Gotham. That really was beyond his expectations.
After so much time had passed, he had stopped dwelling on the phone incident. Whoever they were, all he needed to do was steadily make himself stronger. Everything except his fists was hollow; only strength truly belonged to him forever.
But if they came from Gotham...
Who could it be? Joker? Wayne? Or some gang? None of that made any sense. Donnie had no conflicts with any of them.
"Donnie, what are you thinking about? Come drink!" A crowd shouted, calling Donnie over to keep drinking.
Old Bartender threw an arm around Donnie's neck and kept force-feeding him drinks, laughing heartily.

Tony and his beloved uncle, Obadiah, had gotten into a fierce argument. Such a scene was exceedingly rare.
