Lantern Beast Battle

Parallax had completely given up on Donnie.

The giant bug was somewhat desperate. One moment it looked at Ion Shark with hostility in its eyes, the next it looked down at itself. That sulfuric-acid-like power of will flooding into its body felt even more disgusting and unbearable than eating shit.

For some reason, the anger in Ion Shark's heart suddenly faded somewhat. It opened its fang-filled maw and gave Parallax a savage grin.

Parallax grinned viciously as well, then smacked Ion Shark on the head with one wing, sending the latter stumbling.

The two Lantern Beasts, absolute mortal enemies of each other, glared fiercely, their eyes flashing with menace as they stirred restlessly, on the verge of tearing into each other.

Donnie could not be bothered with those two idiots. As long as they did not run away, that was enough. He needed the Seven Lantern Corps' Lantern Beasts as crucial catalysts; otherwise, he had no confidence in fighting Blackest Night Emperor.

According to the supreme law that big shots always made their entrance last, Blackest Night Emperor had a habit of perfectly abiding by that rule.

During the early stages of Blackest Night, the greatest enemies of all life in the universe were not the terrifying Blackest Night Emperor, but the awakened zombies. Every zombie wore a Black Lantern Ring.

That meant every nearly unkillable zombie possessed the ability to use black blood plasma to infinitely replicate and multiply Black Lantern Rings.

The grand spectacle of hundreds of millions of Black Lantern Rings sweeping across the main universe's starry sea would likely appear soon enough. It was the most despair-inducing scene imaginable. If nothing unexpected happened, the unprecedented sight of every living person fleeing for their life while being chased by hundreds of millions of zombies would become commonplace
