Chapter Summaries

Thanos sent the Dark Order and five million Outriders to find and attack Cybertron while he went to Vormir to claim the Soul Stone. After learning that Donnie held the Infinity Gauntlet and the remnants of the other five stones, Thanos resolved to take the Gauntlet first.

• Thanos ordered the Dark Order to lead five million Outriders to Cybertron, and Nebula asked to join them.
• Thanos left the departing spacecraft behind and climbed Vormir’s snowy mountain to meet Red Skull.
• Thanos asked why Donnie had not taken the Soul Stone, and Red Skull said the stone had abandoned Donnie and could not defeat him.
• Red Skull told Thanos that the other Infinity Stones could be reborn and that Donnie still possessed their shattered remnants and the Infinity Gauntlet.

Yondu and Star-Lord Quill confronted each other on Warworld, trading insults without starting a fight, while both groups settled into bars. Their uneasy pause ended when Black Dwarf arrived and announced that Warworld’s people would become citizens of the Eternity Titan.

• Yondu and Quill faced off on Warworld, arguing while their weapons hovered ready, until Ultron fined Quill for spitting on the ground.

Black Dwarf led the Dark Order in an assault on Warworld and Cybertron’s New World satellite, losing two million Outriders to their defenses. He then ordered the remaining force toward a third satellite, hoping to establish a base and lure Donnie into a five-on-one fight.

• Ebony Maw regretted joining the attack on Cybertron while Nebula watched the Dark Order in silence.

The chapter ended with Donnie insisting they continue despite the daunting goal of creating a system capable of producing a Level 8 being.

• News spread across the universe that Thanos’s Dark Order and Black Order Five Generals had fallen in the Cybertronian Galaxy.
• Donnie, Wheeljack, Shockwave, Su Rui, and other scientists worked with the Level 7 Archmage to study magic and divine power.
• The Level 7 Archmage explained that higher beings in a Magic Chain could influence the magic used by those below them.

Donnie began building Cybertron’s magic and divine power systems, assigning teams to develop them and declaring himself the new pantheon’s first God King. Meanwhile, the Olympian Pantheon was being slaughtered by an overwhelmingly powerful enemy, whom a defeated Zeus challenged to identify himself.

Tian Jin Weng Xing attacked Olympus and devoured its gods, revealing that he was an avatar of Annihilation who had consumed the Wano God System and numerous other pantheons. With Zeus and Ares the last chief gods standing, Ares submitted to Tian Jin Weng Xing, who ordered him to kill Zeus in exchange for his life and a place in the coming assault on the Heavenly Court.

• Tian Jin Weng Xing invaded Olympus after devouring numerous pantheons, and Zeus led the remaining chief gods in a desperate attack against him.
• Tian Jin Weng Xing revealed that he had joined the Wano God System as an outsider, devoured Amaterasu and the other gods there, and now served as an independent avatar of Annihilation.
• Tian Jin Weng Xing mocked Zeus’s isolation and consumed Hestia, Athena, Hera, Demeter, and other Olympian gods, growing stronger as the slaughter continued.
• Ares surrendered to Tian Jin Weng Xing while Zeus condemned him for betraying Olympus.

After Tian Jin Weng Xing conquered Olympus, he headed toward the Heavenly Court with Ares following as his servant. Wa Tu met Stan Lee, a newly arrived Watcher from the Origin Universe, and assigned him to observe Earth in the main universe.

• Tian Jin Weng Xing struck Ares for offering a suggestion, then set out for the Heavenly Court while Ares followed him.
• Stan Lee watched Tian Jin Weng Xing's conquest of Olympus and recorded his actions.

Donnie investigated the destruction of Olympus and began using Celestial ashes and Inferior Cells to develop an Artificial Celestial. His experiment created a furious being that he banished to Apokolips, where it immediately charged at Darkseid and accused him of causing its rage.

• Soundwave told Donnie that the statues of the Twelve Olympian Gods had shattered, and Donnie suspected Tian Jin Weng Xing had destroyed Olympus.
