Awakening of the God of Destruction

At the moment Beerus awakened, countless lives throughout the universe sensed it.

"Ancestor, what's wrong?"

Shin looked at Old Kai's grim expression and couldn't help asking.

"Beerus has awakened," Old Kai muttered.

"Beerus? That Lord God of Destruction?" Shin did not react at first, but then cried out in shock.

"That's right. Looks like the universe is about to fall into chaos again." Old Kai helplessly sat down beneath a tree.

"Lord Beerus isn't that terrifying, is he?" Shin asked as he sat down beside him. "At most, he just destroys some ruined planets in the universe."

"That's what you think." Old Kai curled his lip. "Beerus has a terrible temperament. As long as someone displeases him, he'll destroy things on a whim."

"Do you know why I was sealed inside that sword? Do you know why North Kai's planet is so small? Do you know why the later Supreme Kais all avoided even mentioning Beerus's name?"

Shin blinked. He had not expected Beerus to have played such a major role in all of it.

"Forget it. It's normal that you don't understand. Looks like we're in for some hard times." Old Kai let out a helpless sigh.

Seeing the usually laid-back Old Kai like this, Shin could not help growing nervous as well.

"Super Saiyan God?"

Whis was somewhat surprised when he heard the title from Beerus.

"Yes. I dreamed about it, and I just asked Oracle Fish. It said that this person would become a very formidable opponent for me in the future."

At that point, Beerus suddenly rubbed his hands together. "I'm very curious. During the time I was asleep, someone like this actually appeared in Universe 7. It makes me very excited."

"But do you know where to find him?" Whis suddenly asked.
