The matter with the androids had come to a temporary close. Son Gohan and Eliza returned to their home on Mount Paozu to look after Son Goku.
Everyone else gathered at Kami's Lookout, feeling that they needed to improve their strength as well.
This battle had once again made them understand just how insignificant they were, and they all desperately wanted to unlock more of their potential.
Son Gohan, however, needed to think through the issues he had encountered lately, such as the Cell who had appeared today.
What could be confirmed now was that two Cells existed in this timeline. One was from the present world, who had somehow matured and appeared ahead of time—the one Son Gohan had killed twice before.
The other had come from the future [Third Timeline] after killing Trunks. This was also the Cell who became complete in the original story.
In other words, two Cells now existed in this timeline, while Android 16, Android 17, and Android 18 each existed in only one.
Both Cells knew that absorbing the three androids would allow them to evolve into their complete form and establish themselves firmly in this world.
But the difference between the two Cells was that Present Cell had already reached the third stage, while Future Cell was still lurking in the shadows and was, at most, at the second stage.
With such a gap between them, if they met, it would very likely end in a one-sided slaughter, with one being absorbed to complete the other.
But Son Gohan was not worried, because if Cell could really be absorbed so easily, then he would not be called Cell.
What Son Gohan was actually curious about was what would happen if the two Cells ever tried to meet.
Would they coexist peacefully?
Heh,
