While Son Gohan was training on Musli Planet, a few things were also happening on Earth.

Time shifted back to more than a week earlier.

By then, Son Goku, Piccolo, and Raditz had already returned to Earth from King Kai's Planet, because there were fewer than three days left before Nappa and Vegeta arrived.

This time, however, none of them were worried at all. They all had more than enough confidence in their own strength.

The one who had been the most restless was Raditz, the once-evil Saiyan. He could hardly wait to prove that he was not the trash they said he was.

Three days passed quickly. During that time, Raditz did not slack off. He followed Son Goku to Master Roshi's place and likewise became his disciple.

At first, Raditz did not understand why he had to take this old man before him—someone who looked decrepit and did not feel particularly strong—as his master.

But when he suppressed his own strength to the same level as the old man's, the combat experience and techniques he had always been so confident in were utterly crushed by Master Roshi.

Only in that moment did he understand why his younger brother had taken the man as his master, and why he had always been able to keep him under control.

He was convinced, heart and soul.

Naturally, it was impossible to learn any profound techniques in just three days. What Master Roshi did was tell Raditz the essence of the martial arts he had spent his entire life refining, as well as the importance he placed on mental willpower.

All of this benefited the humbly learning Raditz greatly.

At 11:39 a.m. on the third day.

Above a coastal city in central Earth.

Two spherical spaceships fell straight down from the sky
