Ludo Bagman stood outside the Quidditch Pitch, looking around idly.
When he spotted Wizet, he quickly walked over. "Wizet... you don't mind if I call you that, do you?"
Wizet nodded. "Of course not, Mr. Bagman..."
"That's great!" Ludo Bagman smiled. "We need to hurry. Barty's probably getting impatient waiting for us!"
Quidditch Through the Ages mentioned that a Quidditch Pitch was typically an oval field one hundred and fifty meters long and fifty meters wide, roughly the same size as a football pitch.
Wizet followed Ludo Bagman into the Quidditch Pitch, where the first thing he saw was a rectangular structure.
The rectangular structure was comparable to a small mountain, taking up most of the Quidditch Pitch and making its immense scale obvious.
It resembled a temple, built from neatly squared pale-gold stones fitted together with remarkable precision.
Ludo Bagman had mentioned that Beauxbatons was responsible for constructing the maze, but Castelobruxo had taken over its design in the interest of fairness.
Castelobruxo was also a wizarding school. According to Hogwarts: A History, before the Wizarding War, it had maintained fairly frequent exchanges with Hogwarts.
Hogwarts: A History also mentioned that the school was located deep within the Brazilian rainforest, its castle resembling a temple built of stone.
When Castelobruxo designed the maze, it had clearly incorporated the architectural style of its own castle.
"It's absolutely magnificent!" Ludo Bagman rubbed his hands together, looking so animated that he seemed like a Champion about to take the field himself.
"I never expected it! Beauxbatons is actually willing to spend this much! Though I suppose it's not surprising... In my impression, Beauxbatons has always been particularly wealthy!"
"During the Quidditch World Cup final, I saw it while patrolling the campsite—Beauxbatons had brought an entire group of students to watch the match.
