After Wizet transformed the dead scarab into an Inferius, he had also finished sorting through the Inferius Curse, figuring out the similarities between it and the shadow born from Neville's "Beauty Prima Materia."
This allowed him to begin attempting to integrate other Necromancy techniques, incorporating the Necromancy skills he had mastered earlier into the Inferius Curse.
"Wizet, I still don't understand..." Neville admitted readily. "Should I perhaps study... Arithmancy?"
In fact, whenever Wizet shared a new discovery in the Mystic Corridor, any M.S.C. member who did not understand something would ask directly, just as Neville was doing now.
"It just sounds really confusing..." He scratched his head and continued, "Why does the Inferius gain the ability to move on its own after being... um... 'stirred' like that?"
Now that he had sorted out his thoughts, Wizet could offer more explanations. "Neville, do you remember how to use the 'similarity' of Sympathetic Magic to study magic?"
"I do!" Neville nodded. "If I find myself unable to get a grasp on the direction of my research, I should try to make the problem concrete and find similar objects to study."
Hearing Neville speak so fluently, Frank Longbottom and Alice Longbottom exchanged covert glances;
the "Sympathetic Magic" and "similarity" mentioned by Neville and Wizet were already magical knowledge beyond their curriculum;
No matter how they thought about it, they could not remember any Hogwarts professor ever mentioning "Sympathetic Magic," let alone the "similarity" associated with it;
Fortunately, as experienced Aurors, and with Neville's summary being so apt, they could roughly understand what "Sympathetic Magic" and "similarity" were from just those few words.
