Harry knew Wizet understood French as well, so he went over to him and asked curiously, "Wizet, what's going on now?"
After looking the three wizards over, Fred and George stroked their chins. "The way they're dressed gives me this strange sense of déjà vu..."
"Then they must be wizards..." Ron lowered his voice, his tone full of worry. "Could they be waiting here specifically for us?"
"And then make us fill out an entry-and-exit application form that's even longer than the homework Professor Binns assigns... at least five feet of parchment?"
Fred crossed his arms and made an exaggerated show of being frightened. "An entry-and-exit application form that takes five feet of parchment? How terrifying!"
George struck almost the exact same pose. "They must have been watching us the whole time! They knew we were all students, so they came up with such a vicious idea!"
Ron, Fred, and George took turns speaking, perfectly serious in their words but exaggerated in their tones and movements, making everyone struggle not to laugh.
"It's not quite that exaggerated." Wizet was smiling as well as he spoke at the right moment. "They're staff from the French Ministry of Magic. We need to undergo another round of security checks."
"A security check?" Harry and Ron looked at Hermione. "Hermione, did you run into anything like this when you came to France on holiday last time?"
"No..." Hermione shook her head, seeming to recall something. "Could it be because of that earlier incident? Do you remember?"
"They said all the Dementors from Azkaban had escaped. I remember the Daily Prophet saying that France had been constantly raining during that time."
"So the French Ministry of Magic came to blame us, saying the Dementors had fled to France and caused all that rain over there."
