Nuclear bomb!
For the Grangers and Hermione, the word struck like a thunderclap.
Their reactions were the most obvious. Almost at the same time, their eyes widened and they instinctively covered their mouths. The color drained entirely from the Grangers' faces.
Fred and George, meanwhile, had stars in their eyes. All their attention had been caught by the word "bomb."
They exchanged curious looks, eagerly speculating about what was so remarkable about this "bomb" that a group of important Ministry of Magic officials had come all this way just to inquire about its whereabouts.
Hidden in a dim corner, Rita Skeeter turned her head slightly, a glint flashing in her eyes behind her lenses.
She stared fixedly at Wizet's back, taking a deep breath as she struggled to process this explosive piece of information.
After all, she had a part-time job at a Muggle news agency, so she naturally knew what a nuclear bomb was—and what it meant to Muggles.
She was not at all surprised that the Prime Minister of France had come personally.
What truly interested her was when, exactly, Wizet had become connected to a nuclear bomb.
Besides that, another detail sent a chill through her:
A Ministry director and a Muggle-world prime minister had actually appeared in a wizarding settlement at the same time—and inside a wizard's home!
In the past, something like this would have been absolutely impossible!
Since it had happened now, it could only mean one thing—the wizarding world and the Muggle world were both about to undergo earth-shaking changes!
She did not know whether that Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons would be broken, but the foundations of the <International Confederation of Wizards' International Statute of Secrecy> were probably already crumbling!
At that thought, Rita Skeeter's body trembled slightly with excitement
