"Ron..."

Half-asleep, Ron heard a low voice calling beside his ear.

He frowned, forcing himself to endure the aching pain all over his body. Turning his head aside, he muttered impatiently, "Stop making noise!"

As if that still was not decisive enough, he simply rolled over and pulled the blanket over his head, wrapping himself up even tighter in an attempt to shut out every sound from the outside world.

"Hey! Did you see that? We called him so nicely..."

"Just as we expected, he doesn't appreciate it at all. He even covered his head!"

"Then there's no helping it... George!"

"I get it! Count to three... one... two... three!"

Even with his head buried beneath the blanket, Fred and George's back-and-forth voices still managed to reach Ron's ears.

The moment he heard George call out "three," the blanket wrapped around him was yanked away. Cold wind rushed in without warning, viciously slipping into his collar and sleeves.

"Hiss!" He jolted violently, instinctively hugging his arms, and finally woke up completely.

When he opened his eyes, he found a circle of people gathered around his bed.

Fred and George each held one corner of his blanket, staring at him with mischievous grins;

Angelina Johnson stood behind Fred and George with her arms folded across her chest;

Harry stood a little farther away, yawning and rubbing his eyes, looking as though he had only just woken up.

Fred and George leaned their heads in close, both wearing broad grins. "Yo! Ronald, you're awake!"

"I'm awake, I'm awake!" Ron muttered irritably, unable to hide the exhaustion in his voice. "Didn't we train yesterday? Why are we training again today?"

He sat up, looking utterly miserable. "Isn't it another team's turn to train today? Can't I just have one proper day of rest?
