Wizet had visited the Woolworth Building several times before and still remembered some of the layout of the MACUSA hall.
Thinking back to his last visit, he realized that something was missing from the MACUSA hall: the enormous clock that displayed the "Magical Exposure Threat Level."
Seeing Wizet looking up at the hall's ceiling, Will asked tentatively, "Mr. Lovegood, what are you looking at? That clock?"
Wizet nodded. "Yes."
"It was taken down at the end of August," Will explained. "Right after the Paris Region Incident..."
"Things are so complicated now, after all, and the Dark wizards have joined forces with the No-Majs... If that clock were still here, it would probably show only 'Emergency,' the highest level, every day."
Wizet and the others entered the lift. A MACUSA employee who rode in with them asked, "Paul, what did you do? How did you bring back so many people?"
"Anyway, it's a major case!" Paul Smith said. "Oh, right! Elmer, you'll need to bring some people to the Auror Office later and help expand the space."
"These are only some of the suspects. Jerry and the others brought another group of suspects in the lift next door... The Auror Office's current interrogation rooms can't hold this many people."
"You arrested that many people?" Elmer raised his voice, turning to look at the suspects again with open curiosity. "Paul, what did you do?"
"Don't tell me... while you were on patrol, you discovered a large black market and then, with just your patrol squad... wiped it out."
"Haha! Elmer, you hit the nail on the head!" Will laughed twice. "It wasn't a black market raid, but it was pretty close..."
"These suspects are all members of the No-Maj Mafia. Even if they aren't all elites, a large portion of them are.
