Liam Graves was the first to twist the doorknob open. He raised a hand to gesture Wizet forward. "Mr. Lovegood, this way! I'll see you out!"

As Wizet left the interview room, quite a few Aurors and Hit Wizards turned to look at him, their faces carrying a trace of eager anticipation.

But when they saw Liam Graves following behind Wizet, they hurriedly turned back, refocusing on the suspects and continuing their interrogations.

Just as Wizet stepped out of the Auror Office, a distinct rumbling came from within.

A wave of magical energy immediately rippled out. Yet it lasted only an instant before quietly fading away, as though it had never appeared at all.

This was followed by dull impacts and the shrill screech of twisting metal, mixed with cries of alarm.

"What's wrong with this wall?"

"I'm running into the wall... The wall is running into me!"

"Help! Your walls are attacking me!"

Hearing the barrage of overlapping voices, Liam Graves' expression changed. He swiftly gripped his wand and turned to locate the source of the magical disturbance.

Several Aurors reacted just as quickly, raising their wands and aiming them at the place where the magical energy had rippled.

The source of the disturbance was the expanded space used to hold the suspects.

Liam Graves and the Aurors saw the same sight: the expanded space was shrinking at a visible rate.

Not only that, but the iron bars dividing the expanded space were violently warping and twisting as well.

The bars gave off harsh, piercing creaks. Like out-of-control octopus tentacles, they punched through the bodies of dozens of suspects one after another.

"Reducio!" Liam Graves and the Aurors swung their wands at the same time, casting Shrinking Charms in an attempt to restrain the wildly thrashing iron bars.
