"Didn't you hope to overcome the side effects of Lycanthropy, to control your body after the full moon and carry out killings yourself?"
"Tonight, your wish can come true..." He raised his hands and began to clap slowly. "Congratulations, Mr. Greyback!"
The crisp applause echoed through the laboratory. Fenrir Greyback's eyes flickered repeatedly, filled with disbelief, rage, fear... and a trace of hysterical collapse.
"Impossible!" He shook his head frantically, his lips trembling violently. "Absolutely impossible!"
It was as though he were desperately refuting Wizet, yet also desperately deceiving himself. "That's my soul! My Lycanthropy!"
"It chose me! You're not even a werewolf! How could you possibly do something like this? You... you can't do it! You damned liar!"
"Yes, I am indeed not a werewolf." Wizet admitted it frankly. "Mr. Greyback, you've brought up the key point again: that is your Lycanthropy."
"So you overlooked one thing..." he reminded him. "The reason you entered this laboratory was also because of your Lycanthropy."
"In a sense, perhaps I understand you even better than you understand yourself... including the exact changes your body undergoes when you transform into a werewolf."
At Wizet's words, Fenrir Greyback began to tremble violently. The terrifying memories he had deliberately sealed away, memories he would rather forget, came flooding back into his mind like an avalanche.
