Hearing Seamus Finnigan call his name, Neville unconsciously recited aloud what he had been silently memorizing.

He swallowed before turning to Seamus Finnigan and answering the earlier question. "I was memorizing the passage about the giant wars in A History of Magic."

Seamus Finnigan was the first to applaud. "That's amazing!"

Dean Thomas nudged Seamus Finnigan with his elbow. "Why do you think that's amazing? Do you know whether he got all of it right?"

Seamus Finnigan shrugged. "Did you forget the trick Fred told us? For magical subjects like A History of Magic, the professors grading the papers get headaches too..."

"So if you can't remember the answer, just make something up based on what you do remember and fill the exam paper from top to bottom. That makes it easier to get marks."

"Then let me ask you..." He turned to Dean Thomas. "Just tell me, was Neville's recitation fluent or not? Being able to recite it that fluently—isn't that a skill?"

"If that's how it works, then that'd be great..." Neville scratched his head sheepishly. "It means memorizing them has been effective after all."

He seemed to realize something. "Seamus, did you need something from me?"

"About that 'Disarming Charm'..." Seamus Finnigan immediately perked up, his eyes shining. "Have you heard anything?"

Neville frowned slightly, looking confused. "Heard anything?"

"Like... um..." Seamus Finnigan tried hard to organize his words. "Is there some kind of technique that could help us master the Disarming
