To prevent any accidents, Fang led the way at the front of the group, while Hagrid followed behind the students, escorting them out of the Forbidden Forest.

Once the students had gone some distance under Fang's guidance, Hagrid bent down and lowered his voice. "Wizet, stay here for a while. I'll come back for you later!"

"Okay." Wizet nodded, then took Cornelia for a walk through the Forbidden Forest.

He and Cornelia circled the clearing. Before long, rustling came from a nearby thicket.

The little Thunderbird flapped over and landed steadily on Wizet's shoulder.

It affectionately rubbed its cheek against Wizet's, then turned to Cornelia and let out a string of crisp chirps.

Cornelia immediately chirped back and stretched her head toward the little Thunderbird.

Just as they were playing together, Hagrid returned to the Forbidden Forest.

He came over to Wizet and asked expectantly, "Wizet, what did you think of the lesson?"

"It was really fun!" Wizet said with a smile. "I thought that joke about the little trick was brilliant!"

"Ha ha! It was nothing, really!" Hagrid burst into laughter, and a flurry of noise immediately rose from the surrounding forest, as though birds had been startled by it.

"I saw Hermione and the others looking all worried from revision before, so I thought the lesson ought to be more relaxed. I wanted to tell a joke to liven things up."

"It's just, do you think..." His tone shifted, with a trace of uncertainty creeping into his voice. "Do you think I might've livened things up too much?"

"Too much?" Wizet recalled the atmosphere in class and gently shook his head. "I didn't get that feeling."

"This lesson was actually fine..." Hagrid sighed, sounding more puzzled. "It's the earlier lessons... or rather, the lessons this week. Something's felt
