Even with the help of the Muffliato Charm, Fred and George still found their own ways to create all sorts of noise and chaos, drawing Snape's attention—and they seemed to enjoy every moment of it.
This kept Snape's face cold throughout, to the point that he did not even spare Wizet any extra mockery.
Wizet saw all of this. By his estimate, if Fred and George "worked a little harder" like this once or twice more, Snape would stop assigning them detention.
After all, Fred and George had already figured out the trick. If their detentions continued, Snape himself would be the only one suffering.
Fred and George seemed to have realized this as well. Once their detentions ended, the other Gryffindor students would bolt from the office as if fleeing for their lives.
The two of them, however, strolled leisurely toward the door. They even waved at Snape and said in unison, "Professor Snape, we'll miss you! We look forward to seeing you next time!"
Snape's lips were pressed into a tight line, a sign that his anger had been forcibly suppressed to its limit.
Wizet's lips were pressed tightly together too, but only to keep himself from laughing out loud.
After the Gryffindor students left the office, the room fell into a brief silence.
Remembering what had happened at noon, Wizet looked at Snape and said, "Professor Snape, I recently came across a special place."
Snape returned to his seat and folded his arms across his chest.
As if trying to regulate his emotions, he took a deep breath and forced out a short sentence through clenched teeth. "Go on!"
"That place is called Limbo," Wizet said. "By entering it, you can see the person you most want to see deep in your heart."
"Is that so? Anyone?"
