"As for what I've been working on lately..." Wizet had already settled into his stride, a gentle smile spreading across his face.
He held his wand in his hand and pointed its tip at the tea before him. "Petrificus Totalus!"
As he spoke the incantation for the Full Body-Bind Curse, the tea before him immediately began radiating cold. In an instant, it froze into a solid block of ice.
Professor Flitwick's eyes widened. He had already risen to his feet, abandoning all concern for a professor's composure as he bent over to examine the ice in the teacup.
There was no questioning Wizet's magical ability. Even as a professor, Flitwick could not find the slightest flaw in his casting of the Full Body-Bind Curse.
What astonished him was that this spell, normally used for attack, had affected a cup of tea, turning the tea within into ice.
That peculiar effect immediately made him think of another spell—the Freezing Charm, whose incantation was "Glacius."
Which meant that Wizet had used the incantation of the Full Body-Bind Curse to produce the magical effect of the Freezing Charm.
He had truly never seen or heard of anything like this before!
Most crucially, as a dueling champion, he could clearly sense that Wizet had not used any dueling techniques.
He really had cast the Full Body-Bind Curse, rather than deliberately speaking one incantation during a duel to mislead his opponent into making a wrong judgment.
Beyond that, the magical fluctuations of this Full Body-Bind Curse felt utterly unfamiliar to him.
It was difficult for him to describe the feeling. It was as though it had arisen from nothing; among all the magic he had mastered and known in the past, he could find no trace of anything resembling these magical fluctuations.
