The dark wizards were already shrouded in despair. Hearing those two cheerful shouts now only made them feel especially grating.
After the cheerful voices fell silent, the dark wizards finally heard a jumble of footsteps and heavy panting.
"Sectumsempra!"
The professor who had easily defeated them cast a spell. Though it was only a short incantation, it still made them shudder instinctively, their bodies growing even colder.
The moment the incantation ended, piercing screams immediately rang out.
For some reason, upon hearing those screams, the dark wizards felt as though their bodies... were not quite as cold as before. Perhaps it was because they had new companions now.
A question also surfaced in their minds. Who had driven their companions here, causing the newcomers to be attacked?
The two cheerful voices spoke up first. "Yo! Professor Snape, didn't expect to find you here! We didn't interrupt anything, did we?"
The dark wizards now knew one thing: this professor, who resembled a giant bat and cast spells with extreme cruelty, was named Snape.
Since those two voices called Snape "Professor," that meant... they were Hogwarts students?
Another question arose. Why did those two cheerful voices sound so alike? Could they... have come from the same person?
They struggled to open their eyes and saw two figures riding Flying Broomsticks, drifting back and forth through the air.
With a casual flick of his wand, Snape made the two figures cry out strangely. "Professor Snape, we were wrong!"
They clutched their broom handles tightly and tried to bring them down. "Don't break our Flying Broomsticks! Wood... I mean, Angelina will yell at us!"
Snape lowered his wand and drawled, "I thought you would be delighted for them to break, so you could replace them with new Flying Broomsticks. Is that
