Just as these Dark wizards chose a tactical retreat and reached the edge of another battlefield, they ran into another group of companions.
These companions seemed to be in even worse shape than they were. Their robes had long since been torn to shreds, and some even had spiderwebs wrapped around their faces, beneath which their skin was scorched.
In shaken voices, their companions warned them never to venture any deeper into that battlefield, because there was a red-haired student there.
That red-haired student kept five Acromantulas, and those Acromantulas could coordinate with one another, directly scattering their team.
The terrified faces and wounds, deep and shallow alike, were more convincing than any words could have been.
To be safe, when these Dark wizards took in their companions, they also made their next plan clear. They would no longer venture deeper into this battlefield and would head in another direction instead.
During this process, they encountered something quite terrifying.
Accompanied by a rumbling roar, several companions were sent flying. Not only were several of their bones broken, but their wands were also crushed into two pieces during the fall.
All they could see was the billowing dust left behind after the sound swept past, along with a massive figure hidden within it.
Faced with these endlessly wailing companions, they decisively chose to leave them where they were.
After all, their companions' bones were already broken. Continuing to move would easily cause even greater injuries, so it was better to let them recuperate where they were.
As for whether they might encounter that rumbling sound again and have their injured companions smashed into pulp, who could guarantee otherwise?
Since they could not guarantee that it would happen again, they simply assumed that it would not.
