President Bill's eyes gleamed with the confidence of certain victory.

"You should at least give me a verbal promise, shouldn't you? As for how exactly it should be implemented, I will draw up..."
Before President Bill could finish, Benjamin Graves shook his head. "I'm sorry, I refuse!"
"What?" President Bill frowned, even wondering if he had misheard.
"As a wizard..." Benjamin Graves pulled his wand from his pocket, his voice trembling with excitement. "Such a thing... none of us can accept it!"
At the sight of the wand in Benjamin Graves's hand, President Bill was visibly stunned.
Confusion flashed through his eyes as he asked tentatively, "That is... a wand? It did not disappear?"

Even as he said this, he was completely baffled himself.
