Fred and George fiddled with the Omnioculars, analyzing the magical techniques used in them.

George held the Omnioculars to his eyes and slowly turned one of the dials. "This dial is pretty good... Should we develop something like this ourselves...?"

"That makes sense!" Fred turned the Omnioculars upside down, apparently studying something. "For example... turn the dial, and a fist pops out of the lens."

"Great idea! Then it punches them right in the face! Perfect!" George whistled. "This slow-motion replay feature is pretty interesting too..."

Fred nodded. "But I can't really tell how it actually does that."

"Too bad Wizet isn't here..." George looked at Luna and waggled his eyebrows. "Otherwise, we could ask him right away."

"I think the final is about to start soon..." Luna put an eagle hair clip on her head, a souvenir from the North American national team. "We'll be able to see him then..."

No sooner had she finished speaking than a deep, resounding gong echoed from the distant forest.

The forest where the gong sounded had originally been hung with countless lamps. As the gong rang out, they all began to shine, vivid red and green lights intertwining to illuminate the road leading to the Quidditch Pitch.

"You really called it!" George said with a thumbs-up. "You said it would start, and it actually started!"

Everyone left the tents together and followed the surging crowd toward the forest.
