"The purpose of using seven portions of Peppermint before was to quickly dispel the effects of the ambergris once the potion wore off..."

Having recorded these details, he began brewing the improved potion recipe.

As long as the potion still showed the same color when it reached the step of adding ambergris, it would basically prove that this modification had succeeded.

The water in the cauldron had already come to a boil. Wizet placed six portions of Fwooper feathers into it, then, after the six portions of feathers had sunk to the bottom, poured in one portion of Vampire Tumbleweed fang powder.

After the two ingredients had been heated in the cauldron for one minute, the liquid inside turned dark red.

Wizet lowered the heat, then added three portions of Rosemary. He stirred once along the inner wall of the cauldron with a spoon before adding one portion of Morning Glory Seeds.

The heat needed to be lowered because the Morning Glory Seeds and Rosemary were meant to create dreams. A relatively stable environment was more conducive to forming those dreams.

The liquid in the cauldron stopped boiling. A shallow ring of ripples emerged from the center and spread all the way to the inner wall.

The liquid gradually calmed until even the ripples disappeared, looking like a smoothly polished piece of turquoise.
