With Wizet as a successful example, and with the exact nature of the trial conveniently confirmed, the students became even more enthusiastic.

In order to become the second person to pass the selection test, quite a few students even used their breaks to return to that corridor and give it another try, at the very least hoping to get the door open first.

There were so many students with the same idea that even during breaks, a long queue formed in the corridor outside the classroom where the selection test was held.

Not only did these students share the same idea, but when they emerged after entering and failing the test, the pallor on their faces was remarkably alike as well.

Some students, having learned what their fears were, were not only considering how to overcome them, but also what method they could use to defeat a Forest Troll with a danger rating of XXXX.

They knew how capable Wizet was. If they wanted to deal with a Forest Troll themselves, they would need to find another way—such as searching for answers in books.

They asked Wizet to write them a reading list, and the library naturally became packed. Even though Madam Pince constantly drove out noisy students, more students who had been waiting for a long time would squeeze their way in.

But getting into the library was no help either. The books on Wizet's recommended reading list had long since been checked out.

They could only try their luck, seeing whether they could find books that even Wizet did not know about in some obscure corner, and learn from them how to deal with a Forest Troll.
