As the contestants from the five magical schools arrived one after another, Rita Skeeter grew busy as well. Every contestant who entered the classroom was subjected to an interview from her.
However, the interviews varied in length. Harry's, for instance, lasted longer than those of the other contestants.
Once all the contestants had entered the classroom, it was time to take a group photograph. With so many people, they inevitably had to be arranged into front and back rows.
Rita Skeeter watched the contestants begin taking their places, a faint curve appearing at the corner of her lips, her eyes carrying a hint of anticipation for a good show.
After all, there were five magical schools, and two of them had already started playing little tricks during the voting stage.
Rita Skeeter had every reason to believe that Karkaroff and Seraphina Picquery would want to do something at a time like this.
And just as she had expected, Karkaroff was discussing something with Victor Krum, his hand even pointing toward the middle.
Victor Krum answered Karkaroff with his actions. He shook his head repeatedly and stood together with the other two Durmstrang contestants.
Ilvermorny was much the same. Its contestants had no desire to follow their headmistress's suggestion and chose their own places instead.
Looking at the Hogwarts contestants standing in the front row and Wizet in the center, Rita Skeeter murmured, "He really is popular..."
Throughout the interviews, Rita Skeeter had tried every possible way to fish for information about the unusual events that had occurred during the contestant selection process.
Yet, to her surprise, contestants from every school deliberately avoided the subject, offering excuses such as "I don't know" and "It doesn't matter."
With her many years of interview experience, Rita Skeeter could tell that such "tacit understanding"
