Kashius did not refuse Natashi's request. But true to his swift-and-decisive nature, Kashius brought the prairie girl to the riverside that very night.
At that moment, the bright moon hung quietly in the dark night. The stars glittered beside it, adorning the darkness.
"This is enough. Thank you for coming with me." Natashi looked at Kashius beside her, deeply grateful.
"It's nothing. To me, this was only a small favor." Neither gentle nor distant, Kashius's tone was as flat as ever.
"Do you know? On the prairie, two people in love watch fireflies by the river together, make wishes together under a star-filled night sky, and pray together." Natashi sat on the grass nearby, looking at the flowing river ahead as she murmured to herself.
At that moment, Kashius could only remain silent. Right now, all he could be was a listener. He quietly listened to the thoughts of a young girl in the throes of first love, and quietly waited for all of this to come to an end.
Looking at the scenery before him, Kashius could not help feeling a little surprised.
