At the edge of the universe, outside a blue planet, a white beam of light streaked in from afar. It halted as it neared the planet, revealing two figures.

Hovering in the void, Beerus, the God of Destruction, looked at the blue planet before him, picked at his nose, and spoke casually.
"Lord Beerus, that is extremely improper and greatly damages the dignity of a God of Destruction. Could you please pay some attention to your image as a God of Destruction?"
Beside him, Whis tapped his staff against the void several times, reminding Beerus to mind his image as a God of Destruction.
"What does it matter, Whis? Can't I just destroy anyone who sees it?" Beerus waved a hand and spoke indifferently. Still, despite what he said, he proactively stopped what he was doing.
"How improper..." Whis muttered as his silver-gray eyes began to scan Earth. Everywhere his gaze reached was enveloped in a silvery glow.
"Lord Beerus, the spatial fragments did indeed emanate from here. However, like the fragments we previously found at the ruins of Planet Namek, the spatial fragments here have been altered through an exceptionally sophisticated method. Please forgive my incompetence, but I cannot use them to trace the person who manipulated the rules of space. I am unable to do this."
