Time passed day by day as Son Goku and Vegeta trained. Though Whis's methods were grueling, neither of them complained in the slightest. Instead, they grew even more driven.

Yet throughout these days, Kashius still appeared punctually at the highest point of the God of Destruction Temple every day to meditate and seek enlightenment. His soul was simply too powerful, so his training method differed somewhat from Son Goku and the others'.

Though their methods differed, they could all improve their strength. Take Vegeta, for example—after this period of training, he could already transform into a Super Saiyan God—red!

Among the three of them, his progress could be called the fastest. Just as Whis had said, his method could greatly compensate for the weakness of Vegeta's unstable martial foundation.

Naturally, seeing Vegeta improve so quickly, Son Goku was unwilling to fall behind. However, he had now found himself caught in a dilemma.

Within his body, he had encountered another power, one different from Ancestral Power. That was the power of Super Saiyan God!

Son Goku could feel that this power was immensely strong, perhaps even somewhat stronger than his current Super Saiyan 4 transformation. This left him hesitating. He did not know whether he should continue developing his Ancestral Power or explore the Super Saiyan God power within him.

Both powers were incredibly potent, and he did not want to give either one up. He wanted to fuse them together and unleash even greater strength.

However, Vegeta's fierce pursuit had made him anxious. He realized that if he tried to merge both powers at once, the effort required would undoubtedly be enormous.

In the end, he might gain nothing in either field.

That was what frightened him most.
