Listening to Zhen Hua, Li Moxun and Angers exchanged a glance, the same unspoken understanding flashing through their eyes.
Neither said anything. After a slight nod, the group headed to the cafeteria.
The cafeteria's first floor was where the regular staff ate, while they went straight to a private room on the second floor.
Once everyone was seated, Mu Ye personally took to the kitchen and cooked a tableful of fine dishes.
He certainly lived up to his reputation as a top chef. From the ingredients to the quality of the cooking, every dish Mu Ye made tasted excellent.
Two dishes in particular won Li Moxun over.
One resembled the squirrel-shaped mandarin fish he had eaten in his previous life, except this fish had been fried golden brown.
Each bite had a dense, rich texture, and the flavor was excellent.
The other was somewhat like braised pork.
But the meat was even softer, melting in his mouth, and tasted just as good.
Everyone enjoyed the meal.
After they finished eating, Mu Ye yawned and stood up. "My explanation is this afternoon. If you don't mind, Boss Li, you can come along with us."
"It'll be a good chance to introduce you to them-a level-seven Grandmaster."
Zhen Hua smiled at Li Moxun as he spoke.
Hearing Zhen Hua's words, Li Moxun nodded.
He did not dislike opportunities to appear in public. This sort of exposure was a good thing for him.
So he had no reason to refuse.
Once Li Moxun agreed, they chatted briefly before going their separate ways.
But in the lobby, Chu Zi'ang, Xia Mi, and Fingel were sitting there with aggrieved expressions.
Angers gave a soft cough and took a step back, placing himself behind Li Moxun.
Li Moxun rolled his eyes at Angers's maneuver, then yawned.
