Within the Mu Wu Divine Tomb, Jiang Feng looked at the surging, roiling Northern Dark Mysterious Qi before him, at a loss as to where to begin.
To him, the evil spirits within the mysterious qi were completely formless and impossible to detect.
Yao Xinghe's figure appeared in the left side of his vision. He was smiling as he gazed into the mysterious qi, seemingly able to see everything within it.
"I'll leave the evil spirits to you. You sure you won't get torn to pieces by them again?" Jiang Feng turned and asked.
Yao Xinghe arrogantly raised his head. "Before, I was indeed wary of these evil spirits, but now..."
"My Ghost Path cultivation has advanced another step."
Jiang Feng could not be bothered to listen to his nonsense and asked again, "How many evil spirits are in there?"
"You'd better devour every last one of them!"
Yao Xinghe smacked his lips. "Relax. None of these evil spirits are weak—I wouldn't bear to let even one slip away."

As he spoke, Yao Xinghe vanished directly from Jiang Feng's sight.
Jiang Feng knew that Yao Xinghe had begun devouring the evil spirits and had stopped influencing his Three Souls and Seven Spirits, which was why he could no longer see Yao Xinghe.
Still somewhat uneasy, Jiang Feng immediately examined the situation through the power of their contract and discovered that Yao Xinghe's nearly transparent ghost qi had arrived above the Northern Dark Mysterious Qi.
A strand of ghost qi suddenly shot out and swiftly plunged deep into the mysterious qi, dragging something out at astonishing speed.
