Golden Feather

The crimson python was burned to ash by the golden flames on the golden toad, leaving the demon beasts and Winged Demons around the river and in the sky—as well as Liang Zhaohuang and Liang Ruijian—profoundly shocked.

Those suddenly erupting golden flames truly seemed to be under the golden toad's control. It was enough to make one suspect that the toad had already refined the Demon Emperor Bloodline and gained control of the golden flames on its body, and was merely putting on an act to lay a trap.

Some demon beasts and Winged Demons roared as they retreated, giving up and pouncing toward another patch of land in the distance where golden flames burned.

Liang Zhaohuang sat cross-legged on the Azure Roc's back, able to feel waves of fear emanating from the beast beneath him.

It was fear of the Demon Emperor Bloodline. Demon beasts were naturally suppressed by the Demon Emperor Bloodline. When that bloodline was sealed within crystal fragments and was merely a Sun Fragment, it was one thing. But once a demon beast refined and controlled that Demon Emperor Bloodline, unleashing even a portion of the Demon Emperor's might, it was enough to suppress and terrify all manner of demon beasts.

"Patriarch, what should we do? Should we switch to another one?"

At his side, Liang Ruijian asked in a deep voice.

Liang Zhaohuang narrowed his eyes slightly. Five-Colored Buddha Light filled them as he activated the Five Elements Dharma Eye and Heavenly Eye Insight. He could clearly see a ball of golden light inside the golden toad at the bottom of the river, like a sun, radiating terrifying light and heat.
