Background
The Liang Family was founded by Liang Zhaohuang’s grandfather, known within the clan as Saint Duke Liang. Its generational naming sequence was derived from the fifteen-character motto: “sacred learning, bright auspiciousness, loyalty and kindness build flourishing enterprise, virtue carries the family name far.” 2 7
During its early period as a humble household, the family relied on basic spirit planting and talisman crafts to sustain its descendants. Its original cultivation foundation was the Five Talismans Scripture, while the Five Spirits Art and five basic elemental arts offered only Qi Refining-level cultivation and no route to Foundation Establishment. 143
The family’s turning point came after Liang Zhaohuang uncovered clues to the Five Qi Lotus Scripture, a Five Elements inheritance with a Foundation Establishment path. The clan organized travel to distant Ning Province to pursue this inheritance, despite its limited resources and dependence on the Wang Family for a Cloud Ship Name Card. 6 7
Organization and Governance
- Clan chief system — Liang Xuelin served as clan chief during the family’s early rise, while Liang Zhaojun was cultivated as the next clan chief. Liang Zhaohuang later became family head and patriarch. 5 337

- Contribution system — Clan members exchange contribution points for family resources. The system was implemented after internal conflict among younger members and became the basis for allocating cultivation materials and inheritances. 267 706
- Foundation Establishment benefits — Foundation Establishment cultivators receive cultivation methods, spirit arts, allowances of Spirit Stones and supplies, and a first spirit artifact tailored to their needs. 335
- Clan school — Located at Liangyuan Village, it trains descendants in cultivation and technical arts. Its records track lineage, schooling, contributions, evaluations, and potential. 337 777
- Secretariat — Handles major clan affairs and trains younger successors, including members of the Zhong generation. 1128
