Carrying a suitcase in one hand and wearing a backpack containing Vulpix's Pokémon Egg, Roy walked into the hall and said to the waiting Xiao Muyi,

Xiao Muyi glanced at Roy's suitcase and backpack. A flicker of psychic light flashed in her eyes before she shook her head. "Too heavy."

"Give me one of them."

Roy understood what she meant. The greater the mass, the more difficult Teleport became.

With the suitcase's weight added in, Gardevoir could not Teleport all the way to the Xiao family villa in one go.

After giving it some thought and considering that she was a girl, Roy decided to hand the lighter backpack to Xiao Muyi.

"Be careful. There's a Pokémon Egg inside."

As he spoke, Roy handed her the backpack.

During the handoff, Roy's hand accidentally brushed against the delicate skin of Xiao Muyi's fingertips. He had never lacked female attention growing up, so he did not think much of it.

But Xiao Muyi's reaction was unexpectedly intense.

The instant their skin touched, Xiao Muyi stumbled several steps back as though startled.

It was Roy's first time seeing a pseudo-legendary Pokémon in real life. Excited, he carefully examined it.

Dragonite's average height was around 2.2 meters.

Yet this Dragonite stood nearly four meters tall. It was clearly no ordinary specimen.

"Is this Mr. Lin's Dragonite?"

"That's right." Xiao Rong nodded with a smile. "To get you to that person's location as quickly as possible, only Dragonite can do it. I just called Lin Wuya and had him lend it to us."

"I remember the news saying Mr. Lin was in the Alola Spirit Realm?"

Dragonite flew at a speed Roy could not possibly calculate. When he turned to look behind them, he could only barely see sonic boom clouds forming one after another. He could not hear any sound at all.

While Roy was still marveling at it, Dragonite suddenly began to slow down.

Still puzzled, he looked down at the ground and discovered the outline of the Great Wall...

"..."

"Wu~~~" Dragonite's gentle, guileless cry broke Roy's silence.

Roy, who possessed Aura Power, understood what Dragonite meant. It was telling him not to move around.

Then Dragonite slowly opened its mouth.

The air before it abruptly blurred, and Sunny Day rose.

Energy containing pure destruction gathered.

—Hyper Beam!

Seeing it with his own eyes was fundamentally different from watching it on television.

Thoughts on Release (Please Read)

This book goes premium today, so I wanted to share a few thoughts.

I'm not here to play up hardships, just to talk about what I have in mind for this book.

I came over from another platform, and this is my first time writing on Feilu. I'm still not used to the fast pace here, so I'll write at my own pace for now. I hope everyone can read comfortably.

It's meant to be a feel-good story, but not brainless wish fulfillment. I can't even bring myself to read books with no basic logic, let alone write them.

Feilu fanfiction cannot get featured on the hottest recommendations, so writing fanfiction really is a bit of a disadvantage. I personally love PM stories, but I struggled over this for a while.

Then, after playing the Crown Tundra in Sword and Shield, I immediately got some inspiration. I stopped hesitating and decided to try writing according to my own ideas.

The games are turn-based, and the anime is actually pretty similar. Careful viewers may have noticed that in recent years, Pokémon battles in the TV series have basically become four moves versus four moves. Each Pokémon can only use four skills in a battle...

The spiritual, inventive battles of the earlier generations have disappeared instead.

I find that a bit of a shame, so I wanted to write Pokémon battles that fit "real fighting" as much as possible.

Then, in order to make the scenes more grand, I decided to strengthen the Pokémon's combat power across the board. That is also why I added "Mythical-tier" to the title.

The Pokémon in the original work are honestly portrayed as somewhat too weak. If they merged with Earth, they could not completely replace the role of technology, nor could they establish a society where "Trainers reign supreme."

The enhancement of Pokémon strength is also a modest foreshadowing. Let me keep it secret for now.
