If he remembered correctly, the school had only handed out forty score cards in total. Roy was already the undisputed top scorer.

It gestured wildly as it tried to explain something.
Actually, it did not need body language. With Aura Power, Roy could understand everything the Pokémon said.
But Roy just refused to say so. Heh, he was just having fun.
"You saw humans?"
As his capitalist empire expanded, Roy's meals improved as well.
Gnawing on braised snow rabbit meat offered up by the Pokémon, he muttered, "What's so strange about seeing humans? Haven't we run into plenty of Trainers these past few days?"
Roy knew the movements of every student nearby like the back of his hand.
No one could have imagined that while everyone else struggled to find food each day in this resource-starved snowy wilderness survival test, Roy had turned it into a Pokémon tribal war of conquest through money and fists.
"Nyah, nyah!"
Weavile shook its head, saying that these humans were different.
Listening to Weavile's explanation, Roy frowned, realizing something was wrong.
"Someone's attacking and kidnapping other humans?"
That was obviously not something students taking an exam would do.
"What's going on?" Roy rubbed his chin. "Could this be some kind of test to assess how students respond to danger?"
Given Roy's understanding of the teachers, that possibility was quite high.
Think about it. They had thrown students with no survival experience whatsoever, along with rookie Pokémon, into the wilderness. Even with Distress Beacons and generally weak wild Pokémon, danger could not be completely avoided.
What normal school would dare do something like that? The parents would tear them apart.
Only the teachers from the Trainer Major would dare to be this wild.
All the students had signed consent forms when they enrolled.
