In the blink of an eye, Deoxys had arrived above Pokémon Planet's atmosphere.
The sky over half the planet was shrouded in a curtain of 'dark night.'
Within that darkness in the heavens, a massive black vortex was forming.
At the mouth of the vortex, a gigantic dragon-like Pokémon circled.
It was formed from red-glowing matter and dark purple matter resembling exoskeletal armor attached to it. Its appearance resembled a dragon skeleton. Its head was triangular, a translucent red membrane with five long spikes extending backward from it.
A world-shaking oppressive aura of energy spread from Its body, covering the entire planet.
The humans on the ground feared It, trembled before It, resented It, and chanted Its name.

In stark contrast to the extreme darkness here, the other half of the planet shone with endless radiance.
