Roommate

Having just vented the stress accumulated over the past few days, Link felt refreshed. He walked over to the table, poured himself a drink, and was about to down it when he felt someone standing next to him.

He turned his head and saw a tall man, slightly taller than Link, probably over 1.85 meters by estimation. Before Link could speak, the other man extended his hand and said, "Hello, Charlie."

Not understanding why the other person was approaching him, Link still extended his hand and shook his, saying, "Link."

"Which professor are you with? I haven't seen you here before," Charlie said.

"Are you very familiar with this place?" Link asked back instead of answering.

"My girlfriend... well, to be precise, my ex-girlfriend, is a member of this Sorority, so I'm quite familiar with this place."

"Oh!" Link nodded and said, "I'm a freshman this year, and I snuck in on my own."

"So that's it. No wonder you look so young." Charlie nodded. "But you're really something. When I first started school, I wasn't as bold as you."

"Thank you." Link accepted Charlie's compliment frankly, not thinking he was being sarcastic. Americans generally don't beat around the bush when they talk.

Just then, Link noticed Chris walking out accompanied by a few female friends. She still looked a little unnatural, but it seemed there were no major issues.

Looking at the girls at the party now, Link was more appreciative and didn't have the same urge to vent as he did initially.

However, his attention was quickly drawn to a girl with a hot figure, who seemed to have some Latin blood. He didn't notice that Charlie had already left.

Link turned his head and saw it was Chris.
