They felt no pain, had no intelligence, and their bodies, though decayed, could still move. They sustained themselves by devouring Humans but could only be manipulated like puppets by the Stone Mask.

Although the light in the tunnel was dim at this moment, it still faintly illuminated the outlines of the surroundings. Link's eyesight was far superior to that of ordinary people, allowing him to clearly see the situation around them.

Seeing a large wave of approaching Corpseborn, Link took out a specially made light stick, twisted the switch, and watched as the light stick emitted light. Immediately after, he threw the light stick towards the area where the Corpseborn were gathered not far away.

As the light shone on these Corpseborn, the ones around the light stick began to scream, and the areas being illuminated started to melt.

The Ultraviolet Light Stick has some effect, but it's ultimately not as good as real sunlight. It can't quickly kill ordinary Corpseborn, and I don't know how effective it will be against Vampires, Link thought to himself. The bodies of those Corpseborn melted and dissipated at a speed visible to the naked eye, which seemed fast, but compared to being directly exposed to sunlight and quickly turning into ash, it was still a bit lacking.

Although the plot shows that silver and garlic seem to have no effect on the Vampires in JOJO, it doesn't hurt to try, Link gripped the short knife in his hand, considering which Corpseborn to test it on.
