"Finally took one down!" Link gasped as he slowly climbed to his feet. Tarkus's dying kick had been powerful, and it had struck the arm Dio had injured earlier. The arm had not fully healed before suffering another injury; it felt sore and numb, and he could barely even make a fist.

Baron Zeppeli relaxed slightly, but quickly turned to look in the other direction. Jonathan's battle with Braco was nearing its end as well.

When the four arrived at Whirlwind Knight Town, they found that it had already become a living hell. Corpseborn ran rampant, wantonly hunting human flesh and blood.
