When they were ten li west of the venue, the delegation that had traveled all the way from Liurnia finally entered Lucia's field of vision.
The Carian royal knights wore moon-silver armor and azure cloaks. A breeze sweeping across Lake Leyndell stirred the dark-blue banners in their ranks, emblazoned with star-and-moon crests. From afar, they resembled a sea of stars pouring down from the western horizon.
Facing them was a welcoming party from the east, dazzling as gold. The Leyndell Knights held orderly ranks of long spears and greatshields, their dynasty banners bearing the Erdtree crest raised high. Sunlight gleamed upon their heavy golden armor, reflecting a blaze of brilliant radiance.
The two formations came to a halt a hundred paces apart. From the Carian ranks, a valiant knight in silver armor atop a white horse rode out first, followed closely by three young men and women mounted on giant wolves.
From the golden ranks, Radagon immediately rode forward. Knight Ordovis followed half a step behind at his side, while Lucia and Miquella walked behind them, one to the left and one to the right.
The hundred paces vanished in an instant, and the two sides soon met in the open ground between their formations. After stopping and dismounting, the Carian Knight stepped forward after removing his helmet. He bowed first to Radagon and said, "This foreign subject, Moongrum, greets Your Majesty Radagon."
"Please rise, Moongrum." Smiling, Radagon made a gesture as though helping him up. "It has been ten years since we last parted. Whenever I recalled the years I spent on the western continent, I always remembered your heroic bearing as you swept across the battlefield. To meet again today is not only my honor, but the honor of all Leyndell."
Knight Ordovis nodded and smiled as well.
