What was the strongest warrior?

It was the fusion of two top-tier masters, the union of lifelong rivals—and, more than that, the merging of two fathers into one. Thus, Vegito, the strongest warrior born from Goku and Vegeta's fusion, officially made his entrance.

He wore a neat orange-and-blue martial arts gi, his face carrying a smile and an unmatched confidence.

Feeling that incomparably immense aura, even Gohan Buu, who had absorbed Son Gohan, could not help but freeze in midair for two and a half seconds.

Seeing Gohan Buu's wary expression, Vegito gave a light snort, the corner of his mouth curling upward. "Looks like you're scared too, huh?"

As soon as he spoke, Vegito threw a punch through the air. The wind blade it stirred up sliced a gash across Buu's face.

Majin Buu touched the wound on his cheek, and it instantly healed. His expression remained calm.

After absorbing Son Gohan, he did not believe there was anyone left in this universe who could surpass him. To him, Vegito was merely putting on an act.

Faced with Vegeta's contempt and provocation, Buu could no longer restrain his fury and charged straight at him.

—Bang!

The outcome was naturally unsurprising. Before even one exchange had passed, Buu failed to touch so much as the edge of Vegito's clothes before being kicked from a thousand meters in the air straight into the ground.

What followed was Vegito's one-sided crushing and toying with Majin Buu. He had not even transformed into a Super Saiyan, fighting solely in his base form.

"You've absorbed so many people, yet this is all you amount to. Honestly, you've really disappointed me." Vegito crossed his arms and looked down at the battered Buu from above.

Buu gritted his teeth in rage, steam rising from his entire body. His injuries rapidly healed as he charged at Vegito once more.

Watching everything unfold below, An Xiu was somewhat surprised. In his memory, Vegito, that king of show-offs, should have played around for a while first, given Buu some hope of defeating him, then gotten slightly serious and snuffed it out.

At this rate, he probably would not even give Buu the chance to turn him into a coffee bean.

Is it because this is a different timeline...?

Suppressing his aura as he hid in the shadows, An Xiu fell into thought. It seemed that every parallel timeline in Dragon Balls had subtle differences.

Still, differences aside, even Vegito from another timeline had the same ultimate objective—rescuing Gohan and the others who had been absorbed from inside Buu.

Watching Vegito, already transformed into Super Saiyan 1, deliberately leave Buu's tentacle behind with the intention of using it to enter Buu's body, An Xiu knew he could not wait any longer. He still wanted to spar with Vegito. If he simply let him enter Buu's body and defuse, then he would lose that opportunity.

At the very least, An Xiu did not want to wait for another chance.

He released a slight burst of energy and used Instant Transmission to appear between Vegito and Majin Buu. His powerful presence and aura left both of them momentarily at a loss.

"Who are you?!"

Majin Buu's voice was filled with astonishment.

Vegito looked at An Xiu, immediately noticing the furry tail wrapped around his waist. His voice was full of shock. "Y-you're a Saiyan?!"

"Yeah."

An Xiu gave a slight nod in response to Vegito.

Without wasting another word, he appeared before Majin Buu at top speed and threw the most powerful punch he had delivered so far.

—Boom!

Under that tremendous force, Buu's body was blasted into pieces, even tearing a hole through the atmosphere behind him.

Everything happened so quickly that not only Buu, but even Vegito, who had already transformed into Super Saiyan 1, failed to react.

So strong...

A look of surprise appeared on Vegito's face.

But surprise was surprise. With no idea whether this newcomer was friend or foe—and with the guy having stolen his opponent—Vegito naturally felt rather displeased.

Even though he had not sensed any hostility toward himself from the other party... or rather, this guy had not displayed even the slightest killing intent from beginning to end, not even when facing Buu.

Vegito frowned slightly. "Hey, you're a Saiyan, right? What's your name, and where did you come from?"

Hearing that, An Xiu turned back, thought for a moment, and said with a smile, "Relax. I'm not your enemy. My name is An Xiu, an enforcer of the time-space dimension."

"An enforcer of the time-space dimension?"

Hearing that title, Vegito paused in surprise.

During the gap in their conversation, Buu, who had been blasted to bits in the distance, had already restored his body.

He glared furiously at An Xiu, the guy who had suddenly intervened. Buu had originally planned to use the fallen tentacle fragments to absorb Vegito, but he changed his mind and set his sights on An Xiu instead.

In Buu's understanding, if he absorbed someone as strong as An Xiu, his power would rise enormously. Saying that it would allow him to defeat Vegito would not be an exaggeration.

Compared to An Xiu, though, Buu actually wanted to personally finish off Vegito, that bastard who had dared toy with him.

Taking advantage of the momentary distraction as the two spoke, he swiftly manipulated the tentacle fragments scattered on the ground, turning them into a mass of pink slime that wrapped around An Xiu.

"Watch out!"

Vegito, finally reacting, hurriedly warned him.

However, it was already too late. In the blink of an eye, An Xiu was swiftly absorbed into Buu's body, without even the slightest chance to resist.

Damn it...

Vegito's expression turned grave.

He regretted not warning An Xiu immediately, while also blaming An Xiu somewhat for suddenly interfering.

"Bwahahahaha! Now, I'm the strongest warrior in this universe!"

Watching Majin Buu laugh wildly and continuously vent his savage aura, Vegito's expression turned grave as he silently waited for the opponent's next transformation.

Yet, a moment passed.

Majin Buu's appearance did not change in the slightest. He was still wearing that red-and-blue Turtle School martial arts uniform, and even his aura had not increased by so much as a trace.

Vegito quickly realized what was happening. Looking at Majin Buu, who was still gloating, he could not help but sneer.

"Hey, you idiot. Haven't you noticed yet?"
